About Me

I have spent much of my life roaming through the wilds of Fort Worth's west side, foraging a few meager skills along the way. I emerged from its thicket of tendrils and freeways only to become enamored with the literary arts. And though she has long feared being pinned down, I've waged a pursuit. She has since flown in various directions, lightly brushing her toes along the lands of Italy, Louisiana, Arizona, and Florida as I am left to fumble after her with a needle and thread. In 2019, her flight found pause, taxiing around Frisco, TX. Ever since I've gripped her tightly like one wrangling with a moray eel. No matter where she lands, I transmit her gospel, singing her praises at regional and national conferences. As a Professor of English, my song and odyssey continue as I helplessly tangle with a natural's passion. You may witness this distracted wayfarer bumbling into walls or teaching courses in subjects such as Composition and World Literature.
